The following text conversation happened to me this morning and I thought it was hilarious so I thought I'd share. I was sent a text from a number I didn't have in my phone; this is what happened.
Unknown Person: Uh I'm like the worst friend EVER!!! Happy belated birthday!!!!!!!!!!
Me: It's not belated. It's today. :) (Meanwhile I'm thinking who the heck is this? But I can't possible write back asking because then I'll be the worst friend. So I started googleing the number...)
UP: Oh... Then I'm right on the money! Happy b-day!!!... I'm still the worst friend though because I don't actually know the date. And you're probably wondering who this is, and trying not to be rude you don't want to ask because obviously I'm a good enough friend to wish you a happy b-day so I should be in your phone but I'm not... Haha.
Me: LOL ummm maybe. Not going to lie I was trying to google it
UP: Haha so just so you know, it's Doug. And honestly I never really get on Facebook so if it wasn't for Ashley going to your thing last night I honestly prob. wouldn't have known it was your birthday. And I don't think we've ever talked on the phone before so I had to get your number off the branch website. Haha. Hahaha nice move with the google.
