A friend of mine baked scones a while back, and lately I’ve been craving some, so I asked her for the recipe and decided to make some myself.
The triangle ones are a savory kind of cheese/dill scone, and the recipe I used can be found HERE. Mine taste okay but I didn’t have any cheddar so I used a Mexican cheese mix (which was all I had) and I’m sure they would taste better with just straight cheddar.
The round ones are a sweet cream scone that is DELICIOUS. The recipe I used can be found HERE. They taste so great on their own, but with butter and/or jam, they are also tasty. My friend (the same one who gave me these recipes) also gave me some peach jam (pictured) that is SOOO good, and with the scones it’s heavenly.
SO yay! At least one of my scone recipes turned out delicious. I suggest you make some too, it is super easy and you probably have all of the ingredients already to make them.
