I like this store, but let’s be real, I rarely am able to afford anything in it, and I most assuredly can’t fit into any of the clothes either. But, it doesn’t mean I can’t admire and look and hope, right?
Also, whenever I walk into the store I immediately think of two people: My friend Jessica and my other friend Lauren (who both have truly fabulous blogs so you should look at them and love them too). I also think that they would both get along so well with each other and probably be BFFs if it weren’t for the fact that they haven’t actually met each other and reside on two different sides of the country. But, the Internet knows no bounds, right? Lauren, Jessica, consider this me introducing you to each other.
This is why I think they’d both get along:

I saw this and thought both of them would love it (both the book and the stationery that is Paris themed), and then thought, they are both the classiest ladies I know, so they probably already follow everything in that book anyway (and therefore wouldn’t need it).
Myself on the other hand… could probably take a page or two from it.
But moving on, also while I was wishing I could buy all the things in the store for both myself and others I know, I came across these:

Aren’t they beautiful? I thought, if I were single and had lots of money, I’d buy just this one set and be perfectly fine. I’m only one of these things, and I did not walk out with this set of silverware, so you can guess which one applies to me.
But seriously $24 for just one set of silverware?
I did end up buying something though.

Yeah. Page flags. They were $6, which in all honesty is still expensive considering that it’s just post-it notes, which I could just pilfer for free from my office, but they were cute and I figured I could use them for all the bookmarking and researching I’ll be doing to write my Master’s thesis. At least that’s what I told myself while I was buying the costly, artsy, post-it notes.
And that’s what I’ll continue to tell myself. Forever.
