Ok, this photo looks really cute and pretty and all, but I’m gonna be honest with you. I DO NOT WANT THIS AS A PROPOSAL. Whomever does it and whenever that actually happens, it better not involve the ring being in some kind of food. I’m sorry, I like to enjoy food, and I don’t want to risk chocking to death on something that costs more than my rent. OR risk swallowing it either like that one chick. That and I’m sorry, but I want to instantly have him put it on my finger after he asks me. I don’t want to have to fish it out of a glass of sparkling cider (I don’t drink alcohol y’all), or dig through my mashed potatoes or chocolate cake to get it out. I do not want to have to wipe it off with a napkin or take it to the bathroom to wash/rinse it off because it’s been inside of a fish or something. I ain’t putting it on with all the food particles/crumbs still all over it. Not happening. Disgusting. Nope, I say leave it in the freakin’ box, and just kneel down on one knee, open it, and ask me like a man to marry you. Do yourself a favor and don’t make it complicated. It’s not my thing. Simple, romantic, and heartfelt. That’s all I want.
